After working for Nippon Life Insurance Company and Alico Japan, established Work Data Bank Co., Ltd. in 1985 (now WDB Holdings Co., Ltd.). Championing the idea that Japan's future relies on its researchers, as well as fostering a corporate culture that seeks to discover the value underlying yet untapped and strives to create new value, he concurrently serves as director of several subsidiaries and other companies.
